Iroz Backs up their 8-second 8V RS3 pass in the Vegas Desert - 8.9@158 1/4 mile IMS1000 RS3 at 5400+ DA
Iroz made news and deservedly so a couple months back by producing the first 8-second Audi 2.5 TFSI EVO aluminum block 1/4 mile run. That 8.850 @ 158.65 pass is still the quickest and fastest for the 8V Audi RS3 and 2.5 TFSI platform but Iroz Motorsport backed it up with another 8.
In Vegas no less. How they are running 8.916 @ 158.06 in 5400+ DA is anyone's guess:
Some tuners that contacted AudiBoost feel the desert air allows Iroz to run the compressor harder than they normally would. Why isn't this level of DA having a big effect on the performance of the Iroz shop car?
It's an amazing feat regardless.

Iroz wouldn't cheat like that. From what tuners tell me is with a big enough turbo you can compensate for the air by really pushing a lot of boost.
Driveability and spool won't be great but it won't matter for the 1/4 mile. So, it's like a heavy DA or elevation specific map.
