Trolls Royce: 1974 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow drag car with 7.5 liter GM V8 swap with a huge Mooneyham blower on top
Now this is a hell of a way to deliver some Grey Poupon. Rolls Royces are supposed to be the epitome of class and sophistication. Well, this one decided to throw class and sophistication out the window and go for a full drag build.
A 462 cubic inch GM V8 takes the place of the factory 6.75 liter V8. 462 cubic inches is 7.5 liters so they went even bigger.
Normally a V8 of that size would be enough but to really make a point a blower sticking through the hood is necessary. That is where the Mooneyham 14/71 supercharger comes in.
Then of course since this car is going to be putting down a ton of torque so the tubbed rear gets 12x15 inch Hoosier slicks.
Throw in a cage, a side dump exhaust, and a bottle of champagne for those in the back and the result is a Rolls Royce on American steroids.
If you hate this you must be British. You also must be no fun at parties.

Unless you replace all the bodywork with fiber glass or CF, this thing is just too damn heavy.
Loads of fun though. There are two theories to arguing with women. Neither one works

4600 pounds. Just a few pounds more than what an RS7, E63, Panamera Turbo, etc. weigh.
