1/4mi record holder Newb335guy now running DOC Race single turbo kit
I am pretty excited about this. Newb335guy contacted me when we released the kit and there was a little bit of back and forth but we finally decided on the kit with a 6266. Got the kit all coated satin titanium with a cool DEI titanium heat shield. Just had to lay all the main parts out and show everyone. This setup is just going to rock, no doubt about that.

Newby335guy owns the N54 ET record out of a full weight (literally full weight) AT E90, and literally refuses to shed a pound from the car to go fast yet he wants to make sure he stays well on top. I'd agree that this is the way to go and really looking forward to see what he can do with this setup. If anyone can get a ST deep into the 10's... it is Newb.

Super excited!! I have been wanting to go single for a very long time. Kit is suppose to arrive July 6th and will go in on the 7th. Talking with John, and going over my power goals made teaming up with Doc Racing a no brainer. John and I literally talked on and off for about a week on what I was looking to accomplish power wise.
After i finally decided to take the leap on June 10th Doc racing went to work. Simply amazing how kit was built sent out for ceramic coating and shipped all in a 18 day time frame.
Picture of kit and install will be on a separate build page soon.2011 335is DCT | Pure Stage 2 Hi-Flo Turbos PSP outlets RB Inlets Wagner Evo 2 intercooler | Wagner DP's | JB4 G5/MHD | ER Charge Pipe/Tial BOV | JB4 G5/MHD | BMS DCI's

Kit looks great and I'll do anything I can to help make it happen on the tuning end. The basic launching problems though I think will remain. It's just hard to build enough boost off the line to get the 60' down.

I feel like the new Gen2 6062 would have been a good fit too.
Work on that 2-step at 6000rpm and some slicks and I'm sure you'll get off the line. Looking forward to your results! Congrats on purchasing such a badass setup. What are you doing with your RBs?

My Stealths went back to Rob for evaluation the Stealths were an upgrade from Rob from my original 15T setup. In return for sending the Stealths back in I received a new 15T setup that I sold and used to start my single adventure.
I totally enjoyed my time working with Rob, and running his turbos. Rob and I accomplished what we set out to do, run in the 10s and set a record doing it2011 335is DCT | Pure Stage 2 Hi-Flo Turbos PSP outlets RB Inlets Wagner Evo 2 intercooler | Wagner DP's | JB4 G5/MHD | ER Charge Pipe/Tial BOV | JB4 G5/MHD | BMS DCI's

I can't wait to see if there is any advantage (60') with the 6062. I have been leaning in that direction despite having the majority say that going that small is a waste of a single set-up.

There's no way it will be a waste. It depends on your goals. Not everyone wants to kill their lowend torque to have freight train performance for 2500rpm. That turbo with the right hotside will pull all the way to redline and still give you some grunt down low, and I'm sure it'll make 700 in kill mode.
