Which flash?
Hi all, wondered if I could get some opinions on what flash route to take. My current mods are vrsf downpipes, charge pipe and tial bov, mishimoto intercooler, bms dual cones and jb4 g5 always ran on UK 99Ron. Would the bms pump flash or the mhd stage 2 flash be best? Or is there another option that's better for my setup. I will be buying upgrade upgraded inlets very soon if that makes any difference. Any help would again be appreciated! 👍👍

I'd start with the RACE JB4 back end flash as with your fuel you should be able to pull it off. It offers a little more timing than the PUMP flash. Then evaluate map2 which is around 17psi.

Map 5 was the best map for me prior to backend flash. After backend flash, Map 5 was the weakest map for me. Map 2 is great on the Race flash. As long as you have to octane\e85 mix\ meth for it.

Once you add in the back end flash and then enable mode 4/2 telling the JB4 a back end flash has been loaded, the map definitions change. While you can still use map5 you may find map2 is the best option. If you want help with the tuning end, to ensure its running as fast and safe as it should be, etc, then you'd post a JB4 log in the n54tech support area for myself or Steve to check out for you.

Ok brilliant thanks. Terry ur saying the race flash should be ok with my setup and fuel. Can it damage anything if it's not or is it just a case of loading the pump flash if it doesn't drive well?

I would guess it will be OK, the log would confirm it. Or if logging is not for you just go with the PUMP as we know that's fine for your situation. Either way you're not going to hurt much just may not be ideal for performance.
