2C6D - O2 sensor aging?
Today I was driving around and got code 2C6D, "lambda probe behind catalytic converter, aging". I also got 2C73, "lambda probe behind catalytic converter, signal". I cleared codes and 2C6D came back in a couple miles, 2C73 did not come back yet but I bet it will.
Strange thing is, the rear O2 sensors are relatively new, maybe 2000 miles on them. And I've had DP's for about 8k miles and never had these codes before.
Recently, my oil consumption has gone up significantly. So much that there is oil inside the exhaust tips. Occasional smoke too, but it's rare. I'm curious if maybe the high oil consumption has fouled one of the O2 sensors.
Anyone had this code before? If so how was your oil consumption?
