3rd party feedback on inlet install, and stage 2+
We get feedback like this almost daily, but people rarely post it on the forums, figured I would share a little of it. All work was done by a very high end German shop called EuroWise http://eurowise.com/ they could not have been happier with the way everything fit, and performed once installed. If you are considering going with VTT, you can do do confidently!
As always thanks for the support!
"Hi Tony,
Just got back the car recently and took it easy for the first couple of hundred miles. I was able to log some pulls for Dzenno today and I am very happy with how the car keeps pulling up top now. I'll definitely get on a dyno for some 93oct and e50 pulls once Dzenno and I are satisfied with the tunes.
I chatted with the folks over at Eurowise for a bit and they said that the inlets fit very, very well. It was a pain, but everything was just right haha. They're also shipping the cores back for me so just let me know if the box is missing any info.
Thanks!
Bryan"

There was a big BMW event this past weekend that was going to put my 1km sprint record in jeopardy.
I fitted my VTT inlets last weekend on a RHD car. The fitment was flawless and straight forward if you know your way around the car. The way they transformed the pull from 4500 and up was amazing especially at 5600ft of altitude. I didn't need a dyno to tell me this.
I slapped on a JB4 for boost control on Saturday and pushed the 1km stock frame N54 record on Sunday to 158mph with no meth or eth on the stock map sensor. Runs where done using the stock run flat tires. All of this due to the confidence I had in the power the VTT inlets gave me.
The rest of the N54's where in kill mode especially the altered stock frame class with entries sporting RB's and a VTT2+ car that had some gremlins. N54 wise I only got beat by a big single turbo car that was 2mph ahead.2014 Golf 7 R

So 254km/h over 1km with a standing start?
That's impressive especially using no meth or eth.
Best N54 (and BMW) result from the event over here is 250kmh done by a car with RBs using e40.

Aren't the people complaining that the inlets are a perfect fit for stage 2+, like in this case, so that the fit is not that good for stage 2 / stock size turbos?
Do you have any pics of the claimed crunch of the rear turbo inlet when installed? Is the rear inlet squished or not? Thanks.

The fit does not differ from stage 2 - 2+, the only difference is .2" on the snout. Go ahead and get your ruler out, and look at .2", that is how much the clamp has to close to from perfect fit on the 2+, to perfect fit on any stock frame. The fitment talked about here, is the inlets fitting in the car, not the turbos. This is just one of MANY reports of perfect fitment, there is no crunch, there is no squish zone, is it a tight fit sure, but you as many others, bought into a vendor jumping from one misinformation to another hoping to land on something people would believe. Looks like it worked
