For anyone looking for a recirculating BOV setup

I have run a few different cp/bov/dv and intake setups on my 335s over the past couple years. I really did not like having the DV or BOV venting to the atmosphere. Lots of dust/debris would collect in/on the outlet of the blow off valve. Also if I ever wanted to run meth I did not want excess dumping into the engine bay. Here is the simple setup that I came up with that incorporates a mr5. style intake and er cp/ synapse bov recirculating. There is a 1.5" bung on the bottom of the 3" pipe. It makes for a clean stealthy setup.

Most like the 'pshhhhh' sound but recirculating is far more low key and certainly works well.

Maybe in the future I will look at moving my BOV to the turbo side of the plumbing so I can recirc into my filter for even more of a sleeper effect. Haha

Still have a little pshh, but the loud pshh got really annoying with these tiny stock turbos they are constantly building boost. Tial is quiet but I really did not care for the sound and the huge opening at idle. If you don't go with the DCI it is hard to find a cp/bov that goes well with the Mr.5 style intake.

Geez, took me a little bit to actually see what you were talking about. The recirc tube blended into the darkness. What do you mean by "huge opening at idle"? You just mean the BOV being open at idle? Can you explain any problems with this?

Sorry the pics are not the best. It is claimed that there is always pressure out of the blow off valve but I am not sure. There are times where there is very little. I am just worried debris will get into the intake. Most likely it will not but just being safe. Also oil will build on the outlet of the blow off valve over time and get messy.

No worries, the pics are OK. I just thought I was dumb for not knowing what the hell you were talking about until I looked real close.

I've heard people concerned with open BOVs at idle, but I just never understood why.
