Looks like the Hellcats are pretty popular
Dodge isn't taking any more orders for the charger or challenger hellcat. I'm at work, so I can't say much but here's link for full story.

Incredible.
I can't say I'm surprised. Who doesn't want one?
Now if hey could stick that motor in a Jeep or Ram already.

I don't understand why they won't, the SRT jeep was one of their most popular vehicles. They should make the ram again, but give buyers a choice between the viper engine and the v8 in the hellcat, when ordering their ram. That would be interesting to see.

If they do the ram again I'd say there is almost a 0% chance of the V10 going in. It's going to be the Hellcat motor if it happens and it should be the Hellcat motor anyway.
Man, what I would do for a Ram Hellcat. A Jeep Hellcat sounds badass as well. A Jeep Wrangler Hellcat

I'm sure the dealer my dad works at could build one for you. For a pretty penny, of course lol they build a bunch of jeeps for off-roading. The 392 is a popular choice of engine for their builds.

He did tell me they were trying to get hold of an engine, but with how huge demand is, they won't be getting one anytime soon. If they do a build, I'll post up info here.

The Dodge Hellcat is experiencing unprecedented demand - Orders temporarily restricted
Want a Dodge with the insane Hellcat twin screw supercharged 707 horsepower V8? You are not alone. As a matter of fact, so many people want a Dodge Charger or Challenger Hellcat that Dodge temporarily has to restrict orders in the system. The demand is simply too high.
What does this mean? Well, it's a good sign for Dodge. People love the Hellcat. It's a good sign for the high performance demographic. It is clearly alive and well. If you build it, we will come. It just better be something good.
As the Hellcat models continue their high demand do not expect Dodge to stick the motor in anything else for a bit until production meets demand. Then maybe we can get a Jeep or Ram Hellcat.

I'm not surprised. Any word on what these are doing with basic mods? I'd think someone would at least have headers and an intake on one at this point.

I'd love to see the modded numbers. With a tune, pulley, exhaust, heads, what will we see? 850 on pump gas? 900?
These things are nuts.

Now if they could fix the fuel leak issue... http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2...fuel-leak.html
Looks like about 2k of the vehicles produced have this issue...
Also several people are cancelling their Hellcat orders, due to the dealerships playing games. FCA won't fill back orders until the dealerships fulfill the current orders. SO if I ordered one and I don't pick it up, or the dealer decides they want to mark up the price and I back out, anyone else who has a hellcat order in at that same dealership won't be able to get one until the one I ordered is sold and off the lot...2017 330i x-drive: Stock

Yeah 60k for a family sedan that has a top speed of 204 mph. I'm sorry but it makes it very hard to buy an rs7 e63 Porsche Panamera or a telsa. I can only imagine how dangerous that car would be with FBO and a tune.

Some people are already claiming with tune and CAI, an increase of about 50 hp / 40 tq, cost of the tune and intake running about 1000-1500. Depends on if you want to buy a new PCM ($750) + tune and Intake. Once a pulley is released I'm sure these numbers will jump a lot more...
