Yes a hotter 2015 Range Rover Sport RS with a 550 horsepower 5.0 liter supercharged V8 is on the way - Teaser vid

This is a very, very short teaser video from Land Rover but it depicts the company honing a hotter Range Rover Sport model. The model name is not official yet but Range Rover RS is being thrown around. We do not know the name but we know it has a tweaked supercharged 5.0 liter V8 under the hood with similar output to the Jaguar R models using the same motor.

That means roughly 550 horsepower from the motor. Land Rover is also paying attention to the handling which is why they have the performance SUV running laps on the Nurburgring.

Will this model actually be able to challenge the Cayenne Turbo or BMW X5M? It certainly appears it is going to put up a fight.
