that example is old... im talking about 1-2 years ... look at s4s price a few years old ... they hold better too.. they all loose to much value to make any sense of buying them new anyway... and it doesn't change the fact that bmw is beginning to just be another pedestrian car manufacturer trying to sell a dream on each $#@! car they put out like the 435i for whatever that insanely over prices msrp is

I think the problem is the definition of whether an LSD is available or not. An LSD from BMW for this car IS available. It's not my fault it isn't as simple as picking it in the online configurator but there is an option for an LSD in this car, it is from BMW, and you can get your brand new car with it. So saying an LSD is not available is not correct.

This is incorrect, you would need to purchase the car first, then order and have them install the LSD. We are splitting hairs, but to me it doesn't "come with" an LSD if you cannot order it that way from the factory. How is getting an M performance differential any different from ordering an aftermarket unit?

That's not incorrect, you CAN have your new car with it. The order doesn't matter really, does it? I'd like to see the M Performance Part ordering process anyway.
Because it's a BMW warrantied part? Can't you also factor these parts into the purchase price?BRAND NEW IN BOX 991.2 standard/non-pse SPW cat bypass pipe for sale - $899 shipped

i gotta agree with sticky here, cause when you order your own brand new bmw, you have to talk to someone, on the phone or irl. if you want the part installed on your car, you tell them what you want and the car being ordered will have the part installed on it and you take delivery of the final product. the problem is not everyone knows you can do that and bmw doesn't make it public.

They had a M235i at Road Atlanta this weekend with BMW CCA. Mike Renner was giving hot lap rides in it. The most impressive trait about it, i'd say, is the fact that it could be beaten on all weekend and maintain n/a like oil temps. No limp mode, no 280 degree spikes, just hundreds of miles of flat out laps with a pro and it didn't miss a beat

well yeah BMW inline-6 engines have been known to be pretty durable despite some of the turbo issues

I still think the 1M is a better looking car. There are two theories to arguing with women. Neither one works

The F22 is much better looking IMO. More modern, sleeker. The 1M side profile is not as flattering.

You put the 1M wide body on the M235i, there is not question which is better looking. The 1-series will always have that bug eyed awkward front end. The M235i is much sleeker modern design.

I like the F22 front better and the E82 rear better. The M235i racing widebody looks the goods, it can't be long until someone puts those flares on a street car.
