http://www.datazap.me/u/triggz/wedge
Traction was an issue due to the road not being completely flat.
What do you guys think?

OP if you are 6AT and can consistently hit 13 degrees post shift, let us in on your secret sauce pls. No way he’s IJE0S…Even stacking you don’t see that type of timing recovery.

Oh and it's not just Wedge's map where the timing recovers so well for me.
Here is a modified Terry race map from V8Bait - same result.

Impressive, consider yourself lucky.
So did your car always respond well post-shift? Or were there specific tweaks that made things happy? I’ve never seen an IJE0S car hold 13 degrees of advance after shifting, regardless of flash only. I’m sure that feels strong as hell post shift.[I]E88 N54 w stuff

the most bizzare thing in my automotive modding life came from my car recovering PERFECTLY after shifts after i installed my replacement motor that had brand new injectors and brand new cam ledges that BMW thought was the cause of my rod knock on the motor they blew from no oil... SMH...
same tune as before it was perfect... they also did valve cover...
THAT MOTOR had a bent crank beyond repair , replaced that engine with newest.. again SMH no one backed there work or product lol.... and the new motor does not recover anything like the last... drops to like 5-7 degrees... only transferred the injectors not the ledges or cover from the first motors final "fix" at bmw...
Makes NO SENSE at all... but that second motor recovered perfectly.09 6AT 335i Coupe M-Sport - SOLD

when timing is in your favor the car feels like it is pulling you foward right after the shift instead of feeling like you are building power back.. its very obv when its good and when it isnt to me...

OP just to show you all the fun you are missing out on, this is what 99% of 6AT cars have to deal with, to varying degrees. My car is perfectly happy in 3rd, then promptly falls on its face the millisecond you shift. No misfires, no codes, no nothing. You shift, and it’s game over.[I]E88 N54 w stuff

Exactly. Every shift the car just keeps pulling and pulling. It wasn't always like this though. Keep in mind I'm extremely anal with my car and I do regular maintenance pre-maturely. I just recently replaced spark plugs, O2 sensors, coils, and oil change every 5000KM. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Damn....sorry to hear guys.

Whoa. That is truly bizarre. And yea, I know all about that 5 degree post timing life. Actually I’m lucky if my car pulls 5 degrees. Does this nonsense regardless of the tune, it’ll flatline STG2+ Drive OTS as quickly as it’ll flatline the E60 map I’m currently running.
Edit: and should add that plugs and coils have max 5K on them. Car is in outstanding shape, hardware has had zero effect on timing post-shift.[I]E88 N54 w stuff

Your trims flatline at 0 when you go WOT. Mine is doing the same thing. It doesn't do it with just the JB4 but when I stack it with the BMS back end flash, I get flatlining trims... I haven't tried resetting adaptations yet to see if that takes care of it.
