This video comes from two BenzBoost members with modified W204 C63 AMG sedans, users Mthis and JonsC63AMG. The modifications on JonsC63AMG are an OE Tuning ECU tune, everything else is stock. The C63 taping the race belongs to Mthis and has an updating OE Tuning ECU tune along with long tube headers, BMC filters, 3 inch mid pipes, and some lightweight mods. Despite a lead and jump by the C63 belonging to Jon the C63 recording showed the horsepower disparity reeling him in and passing him. Exhaust modifications clearly make a nice difference on the C63 and compliment a tune well.

Yeah even with them you lost pretty good. Wait a "close" 1 car to 130.You also have aftermarket filters.I raced a Long tube headers C63 which is no brainer I will lose.

Well with headers on the C63 is too loud. By doing the comparison runs with it. Its not worth it. Unless it has a racegas tune which I won't have.

Its subjective. You can run long tubes and weld them up to the rest of the factory exhaust and remove the secondary cats and it's not loud at all unless you are WOT. Cruising around you never know the difference.

When I was talking to Mthis. He said he has resonaters. I thought these would quiet the sound. But his car was really loud! Its weird my friends 2010 e63 has the prim cats deleted with stock pipes. Its only louder WOT. But cruising its quiet. No drone what so ever.

Yes to 130. At higher speeds it would be worse. I will put my money on it.
