We were not expecting Porsche to reveal the cabrio versions this fast. The Carrera and Carrera S cabrios share their coupe siblings underpinnings which means they have the same transmission and motor options. The main difference is the folding soft top which we are glad Porsche chose to keep weight down. Set to go on sale in the spring of 2012, the 911 Carrera Cabriolet MSRP is $97,300, while the 911 Carrera S Cabriolet MSRP begins at $108,000.
