Arkym releases AeroRace BMW E90 full carbon fiber replacement roof

Arkym has released its carbon fiber replacement roof for E90 BMW's including the M3. This is a full carbon fiber panel which sells for about $1000. This panel offers weight savings over the standard roof but the amount saved has not been listed by Arkym. If interested in adding that M3 carbon roof look to your E90, Arkym has you covered.

Majority of the weight savings would be in the moonroof delete. For people who have the moonroof delete from factory, it will mostly be a cosmetic change.

Definitely hot. Isn't the OEM roof $3k'ish?

I don't know, but you can't buy a $3k OEM room and just plop it on an E90 I don't think.

Ahh my mistake. I had forgotten that the E90 didn't have an E90 OEM option. I was thinking of the IND Atlantis Blue M3 but it was a custom job and this was an E92. It all just makes this product that much better.

This is cool mod. I came real close to getting a Z4M coupe before getting the M3. And I had planned on doing a CF roof mod for the Z4M. It just seems to fit the Z4M coupe character really well. But, the M3 coupe came with one, so no mods there, lol. This played a small part in my decision to get the coupe over the sedan, but a very small part. The price sounds right and had I a sedan, this likely would be on my list of mods.
