Stupid question but if the ford implementation of the same box is similar in theory couldn’t we look in those already cracked files for something similar?

also - How do we go about doing the same for DCTs? Click here to enlarge

The encryption is different, but the tables are extremely similar. What DCT mods are you looking to do.
@bradsm87 - what is the latest and greatest xdf?

Launch RPM and vary the shift speed between D mode and S(+) mode... I tried to use XHP to save my current bin as you asked but i didn't get very far - I don't think i could get it to connect to the car from memory...

Ah, dang, I couldn't for the life of me remember who that was! Ok, launch rpms should be taken care of fairly soon. Varying the shift speed between D and S is something I'm going to need to look at again. Send me an email with a reminder of your username. I have something that could assist if you'd like...

Allright so I've raised the Shiftmaps significantly and all of the below to 7600 but it still automatically upshifts in M mode Click here to enlarge :

Motordrehzahlschwelle bei Gangmassnahmen (all gears) - was 7000
Turbinendrehzahlschwelle bei Gangmassnahmen (all gears) - was 7000
    Schwelle Motorabregeldrehzahl - was 6500
Motordrehzahlschutz: damit es keinen Konflikt zwischen Kolben und Ventilen gibt, schaltet das Getriebe bei dieser Motordrehzahl hoch. - was 7100

    I'll keep looking

Nah because XHP OTS maps have no automatic upshift in M mode and that's a TCU flash.

It could be the DME requesting an upshift at redline and a flag on the TCU needed to ignore it. Next I'm going to lower the DME RPM limit and see if it still upshifts. That will tell me if it's a flag or an RPM threshold.

The main thing that would move this along quicker would be more testers. If anybody would be happy to test the blocking of automatic upshifts, let me know. Cheers.

    Hello Guys.

Although i come from the VAG-Side i registered.
I'm on the same Quest as you: This place is the only one, where TCU remapping is discussed in public.
(As a native german Speaker) i'm willingly to translate the whole OLS for you in Exchange for it.
    Feel free to contact me

I have a Google Spreadsheet with translations for each of the hundreds of tables. @TwistedTuning purchased the OLS files so I'm sure he'd provide it to you for a small donation.

OK so I've lowered the DME rev limiter to 5000 and it does hold gears in M so there is an RPM threshold in the TCU at play rather than just a flag. Boy there are a LOT of things it could be amongst the hundreds of maps.

The thing that gets to me a little is that those who know the fix for this seem to enjoy sitting back and laughing at me sacrifice my precious family time and endure the many arguments it takes to get this undistracted time at home. At the end of the day, I'm sure I'll get to the bottom of it but seriously, what commercial impact will it have on those who know whether I get the help from them now or if I find it myself after another 100 hours of my time? Nothing! It will make no difference to them but it would be help the community a lot Click here to enlarge . I guess I've just been spoilt by the great community engagement by the DME flashing organizations. Maybe I'm expecting too much by hoping for the same on the TCU side?

Its greed. Pure and simple. If i could help i would. As i eluded to earlier and Trevorlee has said the Ford tables are similar. Maybe use that to narrow your search? Sorry if its a stupid suggestion.

Cheers. I've got OLSs for BMW E60 6HP, VAG 6HP and BMW 8HP. They should be more similar to ours than the Ford one. There are still plenty of things that don't quite line up and requires guesswork and testing. That's the highest risk stuff. I could change one switch that I think is one thing but it could actually be a potential transmission or engine damaging other thing.

@bradsm87 - I'm extremely glad your wanting to get this done. I can help a pretty good bit if you'd like. I haven't purchased the XHP flashes; however I do have the app.

    You freaking nailed it man.

Why is no XDF posted any longer? Because XHP is trying to milk this.

I thought this was supposed to be enthusiasts helping the community out? Now it's all hush-hush give us money and screw the rest.

Your help is appreciated but even so they will likely just steal it and charge for it. Hopefully the BimmerBoost app puts a stop to this. You don't deserve it for donating your time and it is a shame how money changes people.

Weren't there two guys helping out but they just kept all the info for themselves?

Ok good I was about to say if people just abandoned helping and were keeping secrets to sell that would illustrate things have gotten really bad.

I don't blame XHP for milking people it's just lame it started out as supposedly to help the community.

Oh well, we'll do it ourselves then Click here to enlarge

Let me know what else I can do to help although I believe I provided you with everything you needed at this stage.

Brad, I had a conversation with Clemens @ xHP about the torque re-introduction. He knew what tables to modify but would not release them to me as they are not a part of the xdf. Would you happen to know? If we can figure those out, we can solve post shift correction for good.

@Sticky Its been that way for a while now. Motiv has an XDF with rolling anti lag, EGT, flex fuel and a host of other goodies that are not on the public XDF. MHD also has given them F series flashing... it hasnt been released yet either.

Which pretty normal for features that are in dev or testing and have not been released yet.
