Anyone in Denver area with upgraded clutch and/or turbos?
I'm looking to do an upgrade on my clutch and turbos this year. Was hoping they're was someone in the Denver area that would allow me to drive their car, not hard, just to feel how the clutch and turbos feel. If anyone has a spec 2+, spec 3+, or mfactory twin disc clutch setup that I could try, that would be ideal. I don't need to drive it hard, simply want to see how it feels under normally daily driving conditions. Even a parking lot.
As for turbo upgrades, anything really. I just want to see some setups in person, and feel the driveabilty.
Any help would be great! I would even bring a chipotle or Starbucks gift card to let me drive your car!

Also interested in hearing the chatter noise the SMFW makes if anyone has one installed along with the aforementioned mods...

What turbos and hp are you running? Bummer not a manual! Are you running pump or e85, or a blend?

None of my good friends had a twin disc in his Evo for a while, but I don't remember it being too bad... a little noisy but not like that! And pretty grippy off the line, but had a close to stock pedal pressure.

no haven't found anyone with a manual unfortunately... yeah not many would allow others to drive their car. I do have a turbo hayabusa though, and would *consider* trading a drive in a 700+ whp n54 manual for a drive on it. I'm still waiting to get my bike tuned later this month, and the other person would have to have a motorcycle license. Few other details that would have to be discussed, but this might be ossicle if it would get me the vehilce test I needed...
again, the turbo hayabusa drive thing is not for sure, I'll have to see how it does at the dyno and look at my insurance a bit harder.

It is bonkers fast, and to some degree has ruined me to fast cars! Hard to appreciate a 1000hp car after riding a mid 200's whp bike haha. Especially after ten plus years of driving it, racing, and blowing up a few engines... if you ever get the chance to drive a turbo bike, it is a very different experience than anything else I've ever driven.

In all honesty all I'd care to do is drive a smfw with clutch upgrade to quarter throttle in a parking lot or something, then ride passenger for a few mild pulls on a good power level setup (500-700whp ish). I don't want to drive someone else's high hp car and do third gear highway pulls, too much risk in breaking something I can't replace! I've driven enough fast cars that I don't need to do it for the thrill, just need a healthy er standing of what level is correct for my daily driving.

Before I built my turbo setup no the bike, everyone online referred to the feeling of a boosted bike as the hand of god pushing you forward. Honestly that was the only way I could describe it even now. It just pushes you in a way that feels unnatural, it's not even the speed, it's the delivery.

I raced world superbike Hondas, last one was a '10 and 203hp at the wheel.
There is NOTHING like a liter bike, and a well tuned one at that. You're right, it's not the top speed, its the 8 second quarter mile or rolling from 30-130 in mere seconds that is insane.
And Sticky, I've flown in a MIG...it's about the same in a straight line. In fact, there are videos of guys in liter bikes beating a fighter jet to the end of a runway.
