Watch a 1000 Horsepower Protomotive 997 Turbo and a 1300 Horsepower 9FF 997 GT2 race an AMS Alpha 12 Nissan GTR
Here we have two highly modified turbocharged 997's which take on a AMS Alpha 12 Nissan GTR. The first race has the Protomotive MKI 997 Turbo take on the GTR. The 997 Turbo launched better and manages to hold off the GTR until the 1/4 mile mark with the better elapsed time but after that it is over. The Protomotive car is no slouch trapping 141 miles per hour but the GTR hits 149 mph. It then pulls away through the mile where it traps an eye opening 215.9 MPH to the Porsche's 163.
The second race features a 9FF tuned 997 GT2 with a claimed 1300 horsepower versus the AMS Alpha 12 with a claimed 1200. The 9FF car is faster than the GTR which curiously only manages a 204 mile per hour trap in this race. The GT2 hits 214.46 miles per hour. Maybe a headwind affected the GTR and the GT2 did not launch hard seeming to roll into the throttle waiting on the GTR to get going.
Regardless, these cars are all stupid fast and highly impressive.

Why was the Porsche's trap so low? It just doesnt make sense...did something happen to the car and he had to back off?

Porsche timing is low because they face strange overheat issue!
Another black and blue 997tt faced same issue on that day.
I know they solving the issue for next race!
