UGR sets the Audi R8 standing half mile world record with a 244.83 mph pass

You should already know that UGR (Underground Racing) holds the overall standing half mile record. Their twin turbocharged Lamborghini Huracan broke past the 250 mile per hour barrier en route to a 250.27 mile per hour pass.

244 miles per hour is obviously not a new overall half mile record but it is the fastest trap for an Audi R8. Keep in mind that the R8 platform despite sharing the Huracan 5.2 liter V10 is heavier. It lags behind the Huracan in the 1/4 mile as well.

That said, 244 miles per hour is absurd. This is the fastest R8 and it goes without saying if all you care about is speed, UGR is the king of the platform.

Yeah I was at that Wannagofast with the R8 and Huracan. Both very well put together cars. UGR Is the king of turbo exotics... hand down.

Impossible to argue against it. They hold every record on their platforms.

The GTR held the record through the summer until recently when UGR hit 257mph vs 255.5 by The English Racing GTR
